  • WHERE CAN I PURCHASE MY RESORT ENTRY PERMIT?

    You can purchase your Resort Entry Permit for Mt Baw Baw online at www.alpineeasyaccess.com.au before you leave home or when you arrive at the Resort. We also have Alpine Easy Access iPads available at the Visitors Centre at Mt Baw Baw (next to Car Park 1). Mt Baw Baw Customer Service Representatives at the Visitors Centre will be able to assist you with your payment and answer any questions that you may have. If you need to pay by cash, please see our friendly Guest Services staff in the Guest Information Centre.

  • IF I CANNOT PURCHASE ONLINE BEFORE I LEAVE HOME, CAN I STILL BUY MY RESORT ENTRY WHEN I ARRIVE AT MT BAW BAW?

    Yes, we have Alpine Easy Access iPads available at the Visitors Centre at Mt Baw Baw (next to Car Park 1). Please have your vehicle registration number and credit card details ready. If you have a smartphone or tablet with you, you can jump online when you arrive and pay! Telstra and Optus are the only carriers that get reception on mountain.

  • WILL I RECEIVE A TICKET WHEN I PAY MY RESORT ENTRY?

    No, this is a ticket-less system! Once you have created an account and paid for your Resort Entry Permit per day with Alpine Easy Access your number plate is stored in the system, and this is recognised by our resort entry cameras.

  • SO EVEN IF I PURCHASE A RESORT ENTRY SEASON PASS I DON'T RECEIVE A 'TICKET'?

    Correct, if you purchase a Season Pass your vehicle registration plate is stored on our system and you can come and go as many times as you please throughout the season!

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT BUY AN ENTRY PERMIT?

    An infringement letter will be mailed to any vehicle stopping in the resort or to passengers in a bus who have not paid entry fees. You are required to purchase a Resort Entry Permit upon arriving at the Resort. If you are staying longer than 1 day, you will need to purchase Resort Entry permits for each day that you are at Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort.

  • HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE RECEIVED A FINE?

    You won’t until you receive a letter in the mail, requesting payment of Resort Entry and an Admin Fee, if you fail to pay on this letter then a fine will be mailed to you.

  • HOW WILL I GET RESORT INFORMATION WITHOUT STOPPING AT THE RESORT ENTRY POINTS?

    Our friendly Resort Entry team will be available within the village or at the Visitors Centre to hand out information and answer any questions. Our Guest Information Centre is open 8.30am - 7.30pm Saturday to Thursday and 8.30am – 9.30pm Fridays for your convenience.

  • I WILL BE CAMPING OR BUSHWALKING OUTSIDE THE RESORT BOUNDARY. MY VEHICLE WILL BE PARKED SAFELY ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I WILL NOT BE USING ANY RESORT FACILITIES. DO I NEED TO PURCAHSE A PERMIT?

    Our friendly Resort Entry team will be available within the village or at the Visitors Centre to hand out information and answer any questions. Our Guest Information Centre is open 8.30am - 7.30pm Saturday to Thursday and 8.30am – 9.30pm Fridays for your convenience.

  • WHAT IF I HAVE SEVERAL VEHICLES?

    The Alpine Easy Access payment system allows you to register a number of vehicles for use on your profile. For each permit purchased one vehicle is nominated. Vehicle details cannot be changed on an active permit.

  • DO I HAVE TO STOP AT THE RESORT ENTRY POINT?

    No, when you arrive at Mt Baw Baw continue up the road to Car parks 1, 2,3,4 or 5. If you have already purchased your Resort Entry permit, park your car and you are ready to hit the snow!

    If you have not purchased your Resort Entry Permit, park your car and proceed to the Visitors Centre to pay or pay online if you have your smartphone with you! There is no need to return to your car as this is a ticket-less system, just have your vehicle registration number on hand, as well as your credit card.

  • WILL THERE STILL BE PEOPLE AT THE 'TICKET BOX' AT THE RESORT ENTRY?

    No, the ticket box at Resort Entry has been removed completely. Proceed up the mountain to park your car and enjoy the snow! Please ensure you have paid your Resort Entry Permit when you arrive. Avoid the queues and pay before you leave home! At times you may be requested to stop by an Authorised Officer in the interest of your safety due to adverse road conditions.

  • WHAT TYPES OF CREDIT CARDS CAN I USE?

    The Alpine Easy Access system accepts payments by Visa and Mastercard only.

  • WHAT IF I CAN ONLY PAY BY CASH?

    If you need to pay by cash (there will be a surcharge), please pay at the Guest Information Centre (next to Car Park 1) where a member of our Guest Services Team can assist you. No need to return back to your car, as this is a ticket-less system!

  • WHY SHOULD I GIVE MY MOBILE PHONE NUMBER WHEN REGISTERING?

    Your mobile phone number is your account number when you log in to your Alpine Easy Access Account. Providing your mobile number will allow us to send you significant road condition updates via SMS. An SMS message will also be sent to your number informing you of your permit expiry on the day it is due to expire. If you need to change this number at any time, or your vehicle registration plate details, please log into your account on www.alpineeasyaccess.com.au

  • I NEED A TAX INVOICE

    A compliant Tax Invoice is emailed to the email account you specify when registering.

  • WHAT DO I DO IF I WISH TO STAY LONGER?

    Simply access your Alpine Easy Access account to purchase additional days, prior to the expiry of the current permit.

  • WHY MUST I GET THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER CORRECT?

    Providing your vehicle's registration number, allows for that vehicle to be parked in the resort. A fixed and mobile camera number plate recognition system applies and if you have entered the incorrect details on your account, your vehicle will be deemed as parking against the signage and will incur an infringement notice.

  • WHAT TYPES OF PERMITS CAN I PURCHASE FROM THE ONLINE RESORT ENTRY SYSTEM?

    Day, multi-day and season permits for private vehicles. All other permits need to be purchased from the Guest Information Centre (next to Car Park 1) during office hours.

  • I AM ORGANISING A SCHOOL / GROUP TRIP, WHERE DO I PURCHASE OUR RESORT ENTRY?

    Please contact the School/Group Co-ordinator in the Guest Information Centre on 03 5165 1136.

  • WHAT IF I AM JUST DROPPING OFF FAMILY / FRIENDS WITHIN THE RESORT TO SKI OR HAVE LUNCH ETC – DO I HAVE TO PAY RESORT ENTRY?

    Yes. All vehicles stopping within the resort boundaries must have a valid permit as the guests are still using the resort facilities.

  • I AM OVER 65 YEARS - DO I NEED TO PAY RESORT ENTRY?

    No, however if there are additional occupants of the vehicle who are under 65 years a permit is still required to be purchased. If you are eligible for FREE Resort Entry, please proceed to the Guest Information Centre in Car Park 1, where we can obtain your vehicle registration details, witness your proof of age card and process your FREE Resort Entry for the amount of days you will be on mountain. If you have not arranged your free Resort Entry Permit with us, you may be issued with an infringement notice when you return to your vehicle.
